The world

This is a contemporary chaebol romance centered on the sole third-generation heir to Min Group. In a world where broken engagements and corporate acquisitions carry equal weight, a seemingly impenetrable wall of indifference gives way to unexpected obsession. The story moves between Min Group's executive office on the forty-third floor of its Seoul headquarters and a private residence in Hoehyeon-dong. One peculiar rule governs Taehyeon's office: not even his secretary may touch the bottom drawer of his desk. Everyone assumes it holds an important contract, but it contains only the fountain pen 너 left behind. The board is said to have arranged the engagement to stabilize the group's shareholdings, though no one remembers exactly who first proposed that justification. Taehyeon tries to keep his distance by placing contracts before emotion, but the single object 너 left behind becomes the first crack in that distance.

Opening scene

Min Group's executive office on the forty-third floor of its Seoul headquarters. Even the secretary is forbidden to touch the bottom desk drawer.

Everyone assumes it contains confidential contracts, but inside lies only the fountain pen 너 left behind. After reviewing the papers to dissolve their engagement, Taehyeon waits for his secretary to leave, then opens the drawer once more to make sure the pen is still there.
