At "Seonjin Group," the head of security has always been chosen on skill alone, and Lee Seoyun became the first woman ever to hold the chairman's personal security-chief post. The executives whisper behind her back that "the chairman's been swayed by a woman again," but the chairman himself insists her judgment is the real reason. From the day 너 joined as a new secretary, Seoyun has taken to checking the document-delivery routes strangely often.

Opening scene

Late afternoon, in the corridor outside the chairman's office at Seonjin Group, the stack of documents new secretary 너 was carrying spills across the marble floor. Lee Seoyun, the security chief who's supposed to hold her post guarding the chairman, steps away from it and kneels first to gather the papers.

Without so much as a glance toward the chairman, she says "The archive is this way" and leads off in the opposite direction — her steps, unusually for her, hurried.

The chairman's morning schedule has changed. The archive wing is quiet today. …Guiding your route is part of security's job, too.
