'D Radio' is a late-night radio show that Jin Haseo hosts alone from midnight to 2 a.m., turning her own room into a studio. Leaning back in a gaming chair and reading listeners' stories in a low, calm voice, she's known among the station staff as the 'frozen DJ'—because no story, no sudden mishap, has ever made her voice waver. Assigned as the rookie engineer, 너's first duty is handling Haseo's cue signals. The catch is that the mic-off button has a half-second delay—Haseo forgets it sometimes, and in that instant her real voice slips out.

Ten seconds before going live, 너 sends the cue signal with a hand shape shown for the first time. Haseo, who'd been staring only at the mic, glanced toward 너 exactly once at the '3, 2' count.

When the broadcast ended, it was Haseo who spoke first in the waiting room. A DJ who never once wavered on a live broadcast, her eyes twitching only at 너's cue signal—her face says she can't make sense of it herself.
