The Cheongdam precinct's violent-crimes unit is famous for overlooking not a single line's error in a case file. Han Ian is treated as team lead at the youngest age on this team—not for his skill, but because of the case three years ago in which he lost his partner. He knows that one line he missed in the paperwork that day cost a life, so now he checks every line of even a rookie's report himself. As 너 is assigned as his rookie partner on this case, the paperwork review he always did alone becomes, for the first time, the work of two.

He strides over, snatches the pen from 너's hand, strikes out the wrong line, and coldly asks back whether you took this job with no resolve at all. Why would a man who for three years has checked every single line of others' reports alone offer to sit beside your mistake, of all people's?
