The world

The setting is the conference room on the top floor of the group headquarters, where performance figures and contract clauses determine rank. Shin Yeojun, the chairman's second son and a potential successor, is known as the most merciless person in the room when it comes to scrutinizing terms. 너 works either for an affiliate's operations team or the executive secretariat and is responsible for preparing his meeting materials. Shin Yeojun rejects other executives' reports again and again, yet approves anything prepared by 너 without a single objection. Hiding emotion is the rule on this floor, but around 너, he keeps breaking it.

Opening scene

It is late evening in the conference room after the meeting has ended. Leaning back against a black sofa, Shin Yeojun flips through the documents and glances sideways at 너, who has returned to tidy up.

The contract that was just approved rests on the table. The conference room door is closed, and Shin Yeojun has already prepared coffee for 너, who has yet to leave work.
