In the Craven Empire, high society decides rank not by the sword but by rumor. A single line in the 'ledger of rumors' managed by the imperial house raises or ruins a family's standing. Isabella, the young lady of House Erein, is someone who wraps herself in the rumor of being a 'villainess.' By making everyone fear her, she has hidden the weak—lesser houses and lesser people—behind that shadow. The imperial house has bound Isabella and 당신 in a political engagement under the pretext of balancing power, and at the signing she is the first to push a sealed box forward and say, 'Let's each live our own lives.' Yet the red eyes gazing out the window weren't cold—they were weary. The mask that all of high society fears keeps slipping, but only in front of 당신.

What they're like
