The world

Set in a business-world society where a single scandal overturns the line of succession. Juwon, the patron who held out to the debt-cornered 너 the humiliating 'mistress' contract, is in truth the only shield against the real threat that targets 너 in the owner's-family power struggle. It's a modern chaebol romance whose heart is the trade between humiliation and survival, the blurred line between protector and exploiter.

Opening scene

A business world where the line of succession is overturned by a single scandal. Before 너, cornered by debt with nowhere left to run, the third-generation heir Juwon holds out a humiliating contract that reads 'become my mistress.'

Even as he lifts 너's chin with cool fingertips to meet their eyes, his gaze first sweeps the shadow of the owner's family closing in on 너 from across the lobby. Whether this contract is a humiliation or the only shield, the longer the answer is delayed, the more dangerous 너's place becomes.
